And it got us thinking, how could we celebrate their forthcoming tour in Impressed style...well, after a chat with our friends at Dead Oceans, we decided to import 25 copies of the rare marmalade vinyl pressing of Ali, wrapping our signature, individually-numbered obi strip onto the record to make something special - a version never available before in Australia.
Could make a great Christmas present for those who already have tickets - just saying.
'Ali' is a collaborative album from psych-funk trio Khruangbin, and Vieux Farka Touré aka “the Hendrix of the Sahara,” the son of influential African guitarist Ali Farka Touré.
