This morning JET announced news that fans have long been waiting for - they have commenced work on a new album, set for release in 2025, their first studio album in more than 15 years.

Ahead of this long player comes an exclusive 7” single to whet the appetite - titled Hurry Hurry (Australian Tour Edition). It’s a song we at Impressed loved when we heard it on their Get Born tour at the end of last year.

The B-side of the single is a song called Un’avventura, a cover of a cover: Wilson Pickett’s version of Un’avventura performed by Lucio Battisti at the 1969 Sanremo Music Festival.  It’s sung in half Italian/half English and is a nod to front man Nic Cester’s time spent living in Italy over the last 15 years.

'HURRY HURRY' NEW MUSIC ON 7" WAX

Jet will be pressing some limited black vinyl copies that will only be available on their forthcoming Australian regional tour.

Both Hurry Hurry and Un’avventura will be available via streaming services in the near future, but in the meantime, you really should join the mailing list at www.jetofficial.com to receive a free digital download of Hurry Hurry at midnight on Wednesday, May 8.

Trust us, it's excellent.

Where does Impressed come in?
