What began as a seven-year-old’s joyful song about his favourite bird became an unexpected viral hit - now taking flight again on 7" vinyl. “The most infectious music can still begin with nothing more complicated than curiosity, family and a melody you can’t get out of your head.”

Miles Phillips’ “Eastern Rosellas” started life as a simple, homegrown song - a small tune about noticing the beautiful colours of his favourite bird. It spread across social media, striking a chord far beyond where it began and inspiring covers from Australian musicians along the way.

Now the track is taking flight again on vinyl, turning that wonderfully simple song into something physical to keep, spin and pass around - a reminder that the most infectious music can still start with curiosity and a melody you can’t shake.
