What began as a seven-year-old’s joyful song about his favourite bird became an unexpected viral hit - now taking flight again on cassette, too - due to overwhelming demand.

Miles Phillips’ “Eastern Rosellas” started life as a simple, homegrown song - a small tune about noticing the beautiful colours of his favourite bird. It spread across social media, striking a chord far beyond where it began and inspiring covers from Australian musicians along the way.
Now the track is taking flight again on cassette, turning that wonderfully simple song into something physical to keep, spin and pass around, or play in the car - a reminder that the most infectious music can still start with curiosity and a melody you can’t shake.
